Each year more than 200 ocean-going vessels reach the coast of Chittagong in Bangladesh to be dismantled by migrant workers, including children. In the last 30 years, ship dismantling activities have transformed the once pristine beaches of Chittagong into one of the most polluted and dangerous working sites in the world.
With Bare Hands is a live narration documentary that sheds light on how shipping companies are profiting off the backs of the communities living near the shipbreaking yards.
