March 2018:
At Zsenne Art Lab we began a process of dismantling and reassembling the various parts of the research stages that we have developed in the past three years as the practical strand of the research project Exceptio-nal bodies. We worked on the dramaturgical relationship between the space that was hosting us in residency and the visual, movement and text elements created thus far. The aim of this de-composition was to produce a fresh gaze on materials that we are very familiar with and seek out new and unforeseen potentials that these may offer. Furthermore, this was the first time Exceptio-nal bodies was presented in Brussels and we were really eager to create an opportunity of encounter between our project and new unknown audiences.
